I’m 14 and want to use Alli (weight loss pill) What could happen if I take that?

Question by gamerman1294: I’m 14 and want to use Alli (weight loss pill) What could happen if I take that?
I want to know exactly what could possibly happen. And yes, I have tried to stay on a diet and exercise but it just doesn’t work for me. And I’m planning on getting it at Walgreens. When they say “over the counter” what does that mean too?

Consult a doctor before you even touch a diet pill. They are extremely dangerous and need to be taken seriously. I don’t think any 14 year old should be using diet pills in the first place. Your metabolism is working at full speed. Use it!

Most weight-loss pills speed up your metabolism so you can digest foods faster, and less of the fatty stuff will stay in your body. However, since you’re fourteen, your metabolism is probably almost at it’s peak and the extra caffeine will just make you jittery and unable to focus. Talk to a doc to get the full details. It’s the only safe way.

At age 14 it is really important that you stay active and eat nutritiously. Find things to do that keep you active. Exercise does not have to be drudgery. If you find the ways to keep trim now it can benefit you during your whole life.

You might want to re think this plan..Have you done any research on the side affects? They sure aren’t any I would want to live with and I cant imagine a 14 yr old liking them either.
As is the case with most drugs, Alli comes with a risk of certain side effects. Or, as they’re known on the company website, treatment effects.
A person is reportedly limited to 15 grams of fat per meal, and if they go over (or even if they don’t), there’s a significant chance they’ll find themselves out behind a shopping center somewhere, crying and clutching a wad of horrifyingly soiled undergarments, searching for a place to ditch it.

This is a list of “treatment effects ” from the web site

    You may get:

    gas with oily spotting
    loose stools
more frequent stools that may be hard to control (as in you might poop your pants)
Eating a low-fat diet lowers the chance of these bowel changes. Limit fat intake in your meals to an average of 15 grams.

The McDonald’s Big Mac has 34 grams of fat, and the Burger King Whopper has 40. Eat either of these while taking Alli, and you’ll very likely be transformed into a diarrhea cannon.!
Still think ya wanna try it??
